Campbell, Helen Polauf Helen Campbell Age 62, of Tacoma, WA passed peacefully Tuesday evening, May 18, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Puyallup from ovarian cancer complications. Helen was born Aug. 11, 1947 in Vienna, Austria to proud parents Hermine and Josef Polauf. Later adopted by Scott Barclay, Helen was blessed later with two siblings, Cindy Mosley and Richard Barclay. Helen was a veterinarian assistant at Buttons Veterinary Hospital, Tacoma. In her later career Helen finished her life celebrating 14 years as a paraeducator for Franklin Pierce School District. On Dec. 31st, 1979 Helen was married to her late husband Bob Campbell, with whom she enjoyed 30 years of life before he passed. Helen has 3 children, John Barclay, Adam Garibaldi, aka Sam Campbell, and her adopted daughter, Sheila Campbell, all residing in Tacoma, WA. Helen had a passion for crafts, especially crocheting and scrapbooking. Helen loved decorative frogs and she will be missed by her motley crew of 3 dogs and 3 cats. Helen touched the lives of so many and is survived by Hermine Barclay, Cindy Mosley, Richard Barclay, John Barclay, Adam Garibaldi, Sheila Campbell, 5 nephews, 4 nieces and 6 grandchildren. Service and viewing are arranged at Fir Lane Funeral Home, 924 East 176th St., Spanaway, WA on Saturday May 22, 2010. Viewing is to commence at 1pm with memorial service to following at 2pm.
