Precious, Tom

June 15, 1938 - May 17, 2010

Tom Precious was born in Seattle, WA to Capt., W.S.P. Tom 
and Lynn Precious.

Tom went to local schools and when the family was 
transfered to Cle Elum, WA Tom compeleted college in 
Ellensburg, WA at CWU. Tom married Jean Mattieli on 
October 17, 1959 and they started their Air Force career.

Tom served in many state side posts. Tom served in Vietnam 
1967-1968 in the Helicopter Service for Air/Sea Rescue. He 
saved 38 lives of downed pilots and recieved three 
DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSSES and eight AIR METALS.

When Precious retired from the Air Force he found a new 
career in computers. He set up a computer system for 
Kittitas County Courthouse.

He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers-in-law, 
Danny Hall and Harry Bragg; and his son, Thomas Anthony 
Precious.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jean; three daughters, 
Debbie Precious Burchak, Jodie Precious Burchak and Karen 
Dee Precious; six grandchildren; and his sister, Dodie 
Precious Bragg; and niece, Terre Lynn Hovey; and many 
relatives in the Cle Elum area.

Tom was a proud American.
