Johnson, Earl Marvin
Earl Marvin Johnson was born March 3, 1956, in Yuma, Arizona.
Earl was the youngest of three boys born to Dorothy M.
Johnson. Earl was raised in Yuma, and a proud graduate of Yuma
High School, Class of 1974. After graduating high school he
moved to northern California to pursue college baseball and
eventually semi-pro. In northern California is where he started
his family. First born to him was Jessica Rose Johnson. Later
came the twins, Jermyn Jay and Jacquelyn Kate Johnson. Soon
after the twins were born he relocated his family to Yuma,
Arizona in 1986.
Earl was a high energized man who enjoyed sports, fishing, and
cooking. Everyone around town knew him for his athletic
talents and hobbies. There was never a dull moment hanging
out with Earl. Earl was someone who couldn't sit still for one
moment. He was always working on some project, cooking for
someone, or trying to take someone fishing.
Earl had alot of potential. It is sad to see him go at the early
age of 54.
Earl is survived by his mother, Dorothy M. Johnson; his older
brother, Chesley Kelly and his family; daughters, Jessica R.
Johnson (Aaron Johnson), and Jacquelyn K. Johnson; son, Jermyn
J. Johnson; grandchild, Kaylyn E. Johnson; many aunts, uncles
and cousins.
Earl was preceded in death by his eldest brother, Donald Kelly.
