Hardesty, Bruce "Rusty" Barton

80, of Buckeye passed away on December 29, 2009. Bruce was
born in Buckeye on April 30, 1929, to Ila (Hefner) and Laurence
Hardesty. He married the love of his life, Mary Jane Carr, on
August 23, 1947. He loved his family, friends, farming, and
roping. He followed his grandfather's footsteps and became a
farmer. He built a lifelong partnership with his brothers as farmers
and businessmen. His family was always first and was adored by
them all. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane, children, Ellen and
Bruce Bolen, grandchildren, Belinda and Brent Dykstra, Briana and
Phillip Hart, Barrie and Jesse Rowley, greatgrandchildren, Kylie
and Tatum Dykstra, Savanah, Avery, and Gavin Rowley, and his
siblings, L.D., George, and Sue Hardesty. Family and friends are
warmly invited to an open house visitation on Friday, January 1,
from 4-8pm at the Hardesty Residence on Broadway Rd. A
graveside service will be held Saturday, January 2, at 1:30pm at
the Hazelton Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to
the Buckeye Funeral Home.
