Scott Earl McKEE Scott Earl McKee (Buzz), who has died at age 58, was a great friend and family man. His family owned and ran the Madison Park Hardware for the past 54 years. He was well known by customers and close friends for his loyalty, integrity, wry sense of humor and quick wit. Scott was the only son of Earl and Lola McKee. He was the middle child, arriving in the McKee family on August 28th 1951, after his sister Jane and before his sister Jeri / "Cookie". He married his wife Kay in 2003 and Scott soon became an invaluable, respected and well loved resource for his three step sons and their "posse" by providing know how and materials for constructing and using water balloon launchers, potato guns, and rockets, as well as good advice on how not to get caught doing any of those things. Scott was known by his friends tobe first to point out their short-comings and first in line to help in times of need. He was a talented woodworker and craftsman, an avid fly fisherman, and a connoisseur of eclectic antiques. He could be easily recognized in a crowd in his stylish Levi jeans and Carhartt shirts with a ball cap for rainy days. Scott McKee died on December 27. He is sorely missed by his family, friends and BF2 clan. Scott is survived by wife Kay and stepsons Parker, Colin and Andrew, his mother Lola McKee, his sister Jeri, and her children Todd, Lisa and Bryan and his sister Jane and her children Darryl and Kelli, and his cousins Kirk, Betty, Sandra, Jack and Paul. Scott has requested that his ashes be packed in shotgun shells. His sense of humor lives on. A gathering for friends and family will be held to honor Scott at the family home on Saturday, January 2nd at 3:00 pm. Family suggests donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
