Trauscht, Lester Arthur

a native of Phoenix, Arizona passed away December 7,
2009 at the age of 89. He attended Roosevelt School
and Phoenix Union High School. He served in the Army
in World War 2. Lester was a citrus rancher and the
founder of United Truck and Equipment. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Bernice
and his grandson, Todd. He is survived by his wife,
Virginia; two sons, Larry (Sheila), and Mark; two
brothers, Gene (Margaret), and Burton; one sister,
Joan (Bill); grandchildren: Elizabeth (Matt), Ryan,
Lauren, Analyce, Trevor; and granddaughter in-law
Lisa; great-grandchildren: Preston, Nathan, Amelia,
Evan and Garner. Lester will be greatly missed by
his family and friends. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made
to the Arizona Humane Society or Hospice of the
Valley. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday,
December 10, 2009 at A. L. Moore Grimshaw 710 W.
Bethany Home Rd. Interment private.
