Rovey, Mildred (Bottcher)

94 of Buckeye, AZ, passed away on November 18, 2009. She
was born in Phoenix, AZ. Graduated from Phoenix Union
High School in 1932. She married Arthur Rovey in 1939
and was the bookkeeper for the family dairy, cotton,
grains, & alfalfa farms in Phoenix, Glendale, & Buckeye.
She was a member of the AZ Farm Bureau, Buckeye
Homemakers Club & Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She
is survived by her children, Pat, Sandra (Maury) Chupp,
and Jerry (Dianna) Rovey; 10 grandchildren; 4 great
grandchildren; sisters, Renata (James) Bond, Ruth
Barber, and Norbert (Carol) Bottcher. She was preceded
in death by her parents, Adolph and Erna Bottcher,
brothers Edward and A.G. "Bud" Bottcher and husband
Arthur Rovey. Visitation will be 9am Tuesday, November
24, 2009 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5600 W.
Palmaire, Glendale. Funeral service to follow at 10am.
Interment Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale.
Arrangements by Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, Glendale.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church
for the school's non-profit Tuition Assistance Program.
