| 80, died peacefully of natural causes Nov. 9, 2009, in Anchorage. |
| A service was Friday. |
| She was born Aug. 15, 1929, in Pennsylvania. |
| Her family wrote: "We are glad to have had Mom Adele with us for so many good years. Adele is |
| remembered with kindness and as a woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. A dedicated homemaker, she also worked for many years for the State of Alaska as a secretary. |
| Adele grew up in Ohio but lived most of her life in Alaska. She attended Anchorage Community College after retiring from full-time work. |
| Adele enjoyed cooking, baking, church services, and television shows, especially "Columbo" |
| and "CSI: Miami." |
| She is survived by one brother, David of Virginia; two sisters, Betty of Virginia and Barbara of Ohio; her four children, Jayne Johnson, Karen Rogers, Jeff Johnson, and Timothy Johnson; six grandchildren, Brandy Davison, Jacob Johnson, Matthew Rogers, Sarah Rogers, Jerissa Johnson and Jerusha Johnson; and two great- grandchildren, Burgundy Davison and Jerri Davison. |
| Her family wishes to thank MacInnes House Inc. assisted living home for the outstanding care she |
| received during her time there. Adele is missed greatly, and she shall be remembered. |
| Arrangements are with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel. |
