Mary Rita Casserly

A native San Franciscan lay to eternal rest at the age of 87.
"Sweet Mary" dedicated her life in the pursuit of helping
others that were less fortunate. From the wartime disabled
solders, to the physically challenged members of Morrison
Rehabilitation Center or the 6000+ hours volunteering at
Laguna Honda Hospital she found the time. "Sweet Mary" was
born Aug. 2, 1922 to Martin and Winifred Grealish Casserly.
Mary traveled the world helping others, supported numerous
charities and was very active at St. Kevin's, St Johns and
Laguna Honda Hospital. She worked for the PUC till retirement.
Mary could always be seen slowly climbing the hills in her
white '62 VW. If anyone in this life deserves eternal life in
heaven, then it would be her. She will be missed by her
friends and family. Memorial Service Thurs Nov 12th, 10:30 at
Laguna Honda Hospital. Donations to Fr. James Hagan DeColores
