PASQUALE PERRETTA Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Pasquale "Pat" Perretta, 85, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 4, 2009. He was born July 6, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a 21-year resident of Nevada. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946, during World War II. Pat was a longshoreman from 1948 to 1988, when he retired and moved to Las Vegas. Pat obtained a B.A. from UNLV at age 73. He married Julie Perretta in 1954, and they remained together until she passed away in 1977. Pat married Margaret Perretta Nov. 29, 1987. He was also preceded in death by his mother and father, Luigi and Josephina Perretta; brothers, Frank Perretta and Tibero Perretta. Pat is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Ann Marie Albicocco; and son, Louis Perretta. The wake will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Hanley Funeral Home, 60 New Dorp Lane, Staten Island, NY 10306, (718) 351-1800. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at St. Charles Catholic Church, in Staten Island. Burial will follow at Moravian Cemetery, in Staten Island.
