Mario Luis Lopez February 17, 1976 - November 4, 2009 Loving husband of 13 years to Gretchen Lopez and devoted father to his 15 month old daughter, Eva Luna Lopez. Mario was a big guy with a big smile, a big laugh and a big heart that radiated the warmth of his soul. He passionately lived life to the fullest. The love for his family and friends was limitless as they truly were his whole world. He had no boundaries when it came to helping his family and friends - he was the go-to-guy, the one you could always count on. He was a creative man with vast hidden talents. He could play any tune by ear on an instrument he'd never picked up before. He was a mechanical wizard - he fixed his bike when the mechanics gave up on it. He created unique jewelry out of airplane parts and loved giving them as gifts. He was an adventurous man who loved the outdoors and having a good time, whether it was on the lake with a fishing pole and a can of beer or at a music filled bar with a pool stick and a pint. Whatever the setting, what made the time so special to Mario was sharing it with those he loved. He is deeply missed by those who love him. Mario's amazing Spirit lives on forever. His love lives as an undying flame in the hearts of all who his life touched. A Memorial Service will be held at Unity Church (3617 N. Camino Blanco - South of River, half a mile West of Craycroft) at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10th, 2009. Published in the Tucson Newspapers on 11/9/2009
