Ross Marzullo Ross Marzullo, 103, of Lynnwood, WA, passed on October 19, 2009. Ross was born March 22, 1906 and had a long and happy life with his family. He worked hard for his family, sometimes working three jobs, never complaining. For 53 years he worked at Blackbear Manufacturing as head pattern maker before retiring to his small farm in Lynnwood. There he was happy and content and always busy. Ross loved to be kept busy working his land. He cared for the last two of his Aberdeen Angus cows until he was unable at the grand old age of 103. These two old cows were very much responsible for Ross living his life as long as he did, he loved them so. He was so frustrated when he was declared too old at 101 to still run his riding mower. A remarkable man of dignity and compassion he is sorely missed. Ross is survived by his wife, Alice, the love of his life for 73 years; and their devoted daughter, Nicki. He is also survived by in-laws (and neighbors), Joann and Mark Salvino; and special niece, Nancy Salvino; nephew, David Marzullo; and more family from out of state. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, October 27 and from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 28. Gravesite Service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 28. Purdy & Walters Funeral Home at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036. Remeberances may be made to Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics and Old Dog Haven.
