Rebecca Howe 90, passed away on October 20, 2009. Born in Pirtleville, AZ, March 9, 1919 to Pedro and Angela Ruiz. Preceded in death by brothers, Moises and Pete; sisters, Esther Escalante, Beatriz Navarro and Lola Ruiz; son, James Howe, Jr.; grandson, Benjamin Patrick Jacobs, III and husband of 72 years, James Sr. Survived by: brother, Ramon Ruiz; son, Frank (Edissa) Howe; daughters, Bette (Ben) Jacobs and Priscilla (Ernie) Romero; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. Rebecca was a longtime, active member of Southside Presbyterian Church. A Service in celebration of Rebecca's life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, 3015 N. Oracle Rd.
