Our Beloved mother Marie Catherine Jacobsen Clark, 

93, passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 in Boise, Idaho. She was born 
October 2, 1916 in Jerome, Idaho where was also raised. She was the 
10th and youngest daughter of Johannes (John) and Sophie Wilhelmine 
Boldt Jacobsen. She attended Jerome Schools until she married Ray 
Loran Clark from Web, Oklahoma, May 13, 1934. They had three children, 
Jimmy Don Clark, Loran Ray Clark, and Helen Marie Clark Cambra. They 
moved to Boise and Ray was subsequently transferred numerous times in 
and out of Boise. They lived in Pendleton, Oregon; Ogden, Utah; Walla 
Walla, Washington; and San Diego California. They both were active 
members of The Christian Church and later The University Christian 
Church. Mom was a woman with creative hands and an avid sewer. She 
made many quilts for all her children, grand and great grandchildren. 
She was an excellent sewer and loved to embroider. She altered 
expensive women's clothing, made drapes, and costumes for the church. 
She loved her flowers and growing her own garden. She spent many hours 
canning. She could make a penny stretch a mile to dad's amazement. Her 
delight was reading and people. Mom worked at Sears as a cashier, and 
in the houseware department. She also worked for C.C. Anderson 
(Macy's) and The Bazaar. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge- Ladies 
Auxiliary and Winicouple- University Christian Church. She loved being 
with people and enjoying life. Her family was her greatest passion and 
all were dearly loved. Mom was devoted to dad and her children as well 
as her church. She was the glue that held the family together. Anyone 
who knew or met her knew they had a solid and caring friend for life. 
Her council, love and smile will be missed by all. She is with the 
love of her life and her God. She was preceded in death by Ray by 19 
years; her mother and father; 6 brother and 3 sisters; and numerous 
nieces and nephews. She is survived by their three children, 
grandchildren, Carrie Jo Clark; Jay Clark; L'Lena Maria Cambra Sears; 
Kimberly Clark Welsh; Lori Clark Alverson; Julie Clark Bardsley; 
Connie Clark Schuur; Lesha Renee (Knapp) Cambra; Daman Scot Cambra; 
Dena Larae Cambra; 16 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great 
Grandchildren. A visitation will be held Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 
4-7 pm at Cloverdale Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 
2:00pm, Monday, October 26, 2009 at Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens. In
