MCCOLLUM Danny J. Danny J. McCollum, 59, of Holland, Ohio, passed at home Wednesday, September 2, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Danny was born June 13, 1950, to Clifford and Naomi (Stockdale) McCollum in Waynesburg, PA. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1968 and served in the Army Reserve. He was employed with Hansons Aggregate, formerly the France Stone Company for 41 years. Danny was a member of Heritage Church of God and enjoyed spending time with his horses, riding motorcycles, camping, canoeing and spending time with his family. Danny was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Roger D. McCollum. He married Cheri Hendry whom he is survived by; daughters, Rebekah and Rachael McCollum; mother, Hope Basore; stepmother, Doris McCollum; brothers, Clifford Ray (Sharen), Dean (Vickie) McCollum; sister, Susan (Bob) Houghtlen; grandson, Ethan Weinrich; sister-in-law, Sue Simpkins, and numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-8 p.m. at the Dowling Funeral Home, 7509 New West Road at King, Toledo 419-841-8111. Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The family also would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio where memorial contributions may be made.
