Robert Rand HUNT

July 19, 1920 ~ September 4, 2009 Robert Hunt was born and raised in
St. Joseph, Missouri, and spent most of his life in Seattle. Bob was
educated at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Robert worked as trust officer and Senior Vice President of the
Seattle Trust and Savings Bank. He also served as the Director of
the Pacific Coast Banking School. During World War II he served in
the Air Force and was stationed in France during the Korean Crisis,
where he met his wife Patricia. He belonged to several Military
Reserve Officers associations, the Chief Seattle Council of the Boy
Scouts, the Seattle YMCA, the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage
Foundation, the Rainier Club, the New England Historical
Genealogical Society, the Alliance FranA#ise, the Sons of the
American Revolution, and various historical societies. Robert's
interests included mountaineering, genealogy, history, writing for
the Lewis and Clark Journal, Great Books, yoga and exercise.He is
survived by his wife, Patricia and daughter, Kathleen. Gifts in lieu
of flowers may be given to the Horizon House Residents Assistance
Fund or the Chief Seattle Council of the Boy Scouts. No public
service is planned.
