Ronald H. Poe Age 85, went home to his Lord on September 12, 2009 after a wonderful life filled with family and friends. Born in Tacoma on February 27, 1924 to Earl and Flora Jo Poe, he grew up with his three brothers in Puyallup. After graduating from Puyallup High School in 1942, Ron served in the Navy for six years and then went on to earn a degree in Business from the University of Puget Sound. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. Ron was a sharp businessman, as well as a loyal and loving family member and friend. He was a powerful role model for his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. He will be remembered and cherished by all those who knew him, remaining in the hearts of family and friends forever. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Phil (Margaret), and sister-in-law Bette Poe. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia; his brothers Don and Fred (Rita); his daughters Kristine (Larry) Stoops, Ronna Morgan, Teresa Iverson, Debbie (Greg) Knox, sons Ivy (Connie) Iverson, and Mike (Vicki) Iverson; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held on Thur., Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. at All Saints Church, 204 6th Ave. SW, Puyallup, 98371. A reception will follow at the Eagles, 202 5th St. NW, Puyallup, 98371.
