Clifford E SPALDING 

August 6, 1929 ~ August 23, 2009 Clifford passed away peacefully 
at his home on August 23, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife 
of 58 years, Shirley, brother Len Spalding, children Jean (Wes) 
Vicklund and Clifford Jr; grandchildren Brent (Shawn) Bryant, 
Brianna Vicklund and Steven Spalding; great grandchildren Madison 
Vicklund and Jayce Wright who he called his little race car 
driver. Cliff's passion was race car driving. His last race was 
at age 51 driving the #51 car. His nickname was "mighty mouse" 
which was painted on his helmet. He was small but mighty. Cliff 
was inducted into the Golden wheels hall of fame which made him 
so proud. We all love and miss you. At the family's request there 
will be a private family burial.
