Josephine Louise Berdall Of Belmont CA, born May 5, 1927 in San Francisco, CA; died August 6, 2009 in San Mateo, CA. She was predeceased by parents; Louis and Marianna Sertorelli and husband, Gordon Berdall. Jo graduated from Balboa High School in 1945 and St. Mary's College of Nursing in 1948. She worked as a registered nurse in various San Francisco area hospitals and devoted 24 years of service to San Mateo Medical Center (Chope Hospital). Jo was an excellent Italian cook and baker who enjoyed reading and her family. She leaves behind her sister, Mary Taylor of Santa Rosa; daughters: Joanne Berdall of Virginia, Suzanne Berdall of Winters, Lauri Hill of Half Moon Bay, Michele Farmer of Virginia, and Kris Rozzi of Belmont; sons-in-law: Marc Weiss of Virginia, David Rangel of Winters, and Jeff Farmer of Virginia; as well as 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A private family service took place at Skylawn Memorial Park.
