Dale Jordan STRONG Born in 1919 in Camp Verde, AZ, Dale passed away August 13, 2009. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert; and survived by two children Robin (Kevin) Rucker of Burbank, WA and Brian (Despina) Strong of Seattle, WA; and four grandchildren: Kyle, Kara, Ryan, and Evangelia. Dale spent her childhood on a remote Arizona chicken range, walking 3.5 miles daily to a one room school house. She later graduated with a teaching degree from Arizona State University followed by a Masters from University of Denver. In the summer of 1948, she moved to Seat tle and married Robert Strong. In Seattle she taught business classes in Franklin High School and at North Seattle Community College. Dale's philosophy of "living each day to the fullest," blessed her family and friends with many adventures which were often written up with Dale's special writer's flare. She will al ways be remembered as a wonderful mother and extra-special grandma.
