C. Edward "Ed" NEHER "Ed" 

transitioned at age 87 on 7/14/09 in the presence of his family. 
Born 11/04/21 in Wilkeson, WA to Casper Edward and Evelyn Mahar 
Neher. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Eve Neher, daughter 
Shemayim Susan Elohim, son Michael Neher, four grandchildren and 
three great grandchildren. As a youth, he performed with his 
musical family group at local granges and the Historic Palomar 
Theatre. Before college, he rode his bicycle to New York 
returning via San Francisco to visit both world fairs. He 
graduated UW School of Engineering after service in the Army-Air 
Force. During his 35 years at Boeing, his work includes the 747 
instrument panel. Ed was a gentle, loving, devoted husband. A 
caring, playful, wonderfully wise father and grandfather. Adored 
by all who knew him, he will be missed.
