Louis Clifford "Butch" Belden, III

born February 2, 1953, in Tucson, passed into eternity July 12,
2009 in Snowflake, Arizona. Self-taught Southern Arizona
anthropologist, historian, geologist, rock-hound, silversmith,
artist, and car restorer, Butch was most at home camping in the
desert, poking around for traces of Arizona's long lost
civilizations, or prospecting for minerals. He is survived by his
daughter, Shannon, of Phoenix; stepsons, Jason Miller and Ian
Miller, as well as five other sons and daughters, Louis, Jimmy,
Priscilla, Lindsay, and Brandon, all of Tucson; eight
grandchildren, his mother, Jean Klotz, and brother, Jim Klotz,
both of Placerville, California; his children's mothers, Beverly
(Shannon) and Elizabeth, also survive Butch. His father, Louis
Clifford Belden, and stepmother Dorothy, preceded Butch into
eternity. Family and Friends from around Arizona will join to
remember Butch on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 10:30 a.m, in
Snowflake, Arizona at the Living Faith Christian Center, 505 S.

celebration will follow.
