Gastelum, Hortencia C. Hortencia C. Gastelum 88, born March 13, 1922 in Tucson, AZ, passed away on April 29, 2010. She is preceded in death by husband of 60 years, Alfredo M. Gustelum; parents, Fedicio and Maria Campas; sisters, Amanda and Belen Gastelum. Survived by her children, Carmen (Jaun) Ortiz, Alfred Gastelum, Raquel (Hector) Carranza, Enedina (David) Hernandez; daughter-in-law, Yolanda Gastelum; 12 grandchildren, 25 great- grandchildren with one on the way. Also survived by her siblings, Amelia Carranza, Oscar Campas, Mercedes Moreno all of Tucson and Evangelina Rosales of Dougles. She had many nieces and nephews and godchildren. She was raised in Barrio Anita. She was a member of Las Florecitas of Holy Family Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS on Monday, May 10, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary at 8:30 a.m. Mass will follow at St. Monica Church at 10:00 a.m. and burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
