Ellifrits-Garrens, Bertha Edna

Bertha Edna Ellifrits-Garrens passed away May 10th, 2010 after 
a long illness. Bertha was born to Joseph and Margett Marcus 
on April 30, 1926 in Kansas City, KS. She was a homemaker 
and served lunch at Topeka High School for several years and 
worked for Cardinals Cleaning in the 1980s and was also a 
mother of 5. Survivors include a daughter, Edna M. Rector of 
Topeka, KS; two sons, George H. Ellifrits of Great Bend, KS 
and Roy Jr. Garrens of FL; 22 grandkids, 33 great grandkids 
and 10 great great grandkids. She was preceded in death by 
husbands George H. Ellifrits and Roy Garrens and two 
daughters, Phyllis I. Rector and Rouberta A. Crossmun. 
Memorial services will be held at Ednas home on Friday, May 
14th at 2 p.m. Graveside burial will be held at a later date. In 
lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Heart of
