Berglund, Milton O.
Milton O. Berglund, 81, passed away with family at his side on April 27, 2010.
He was born to Oscar and Augusta Berglund on Nov. 15, 1928, in Martinez, Calif.
His family moved to Klamath Falls in 1929 and to Medford in 1942.
He joined the Navy in 1945, serving as a radarman.
Milton worked as a lumber grader and a union carpenter on many local businesses and homes until his retirement in 1987.
He married June Stern on Jan. 29, 1955, in Reno, Nev. Together, they raised three children and lived in the same home for 52 years.
Milton and June enjoyed camping and traveling, especially three adventures to Sweden to visit relatives.
He will be greatly missed by June, his loving wife of 55 years; his son and daughter-in-law, Arne and Deanna Berglund of Springfield, Ore.; his son, Albert of Corvallis, Ore.; his daughter and son-in-law, Linnea and Rick Valle of Klamath Falls, Ore.; his three grandsons, Brent Valle of Cleveland, Ohio, Eric Berglund of Springfield, Ore., and Gregory Valle of Memphis, Tenn.
At his request, no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Klamath Lake County Food Bank.
