DeVan, Paul H. August 25, 1927 - May 5, 2010 Paul H. DeVan, 82, died peacefully at his home in Inglewood, Ca. He is survived by daughters Tamara, Kimberly, the late Paul Jr. and longtime companion Elaine Atlow. Paul served his country in World War II. His devotion was to his family first. He was married to the late Willa Mae DeVan. Paul's passion was for sports, politics and service to the community. He played professional football with the L.A. Rams and Green Bay Packers. Paul ran for public office in the City Council, State Assembly and the Inglewood Mayor's race. Paul's second family was Training and Research Foundation which he founded in 1966. He spent most of time making sure that Training and Research Foundation carried out its mission of providing quality services to children and families in the Head Start Program.
