Fitzgerald, Sylvia

August 31,1942 to April 22, 2010 Sylvia Fitzgerald passed 
away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, April 22, 2010. 
Sylvia was born on August 31,1942 in Brighton, Great 
Britain to Betty and Jack Stephens. She is survived by her 
sister and brother-in-law, Pen and John Baddeley, and 
her son Jeremy (Guy) and daughter-in-law Cristina. Sylvia 
was an active member of San Diego Cat Fanciers Club and 
Abyssinian Breeders International. She was a highly 
accomplished CFA Shorthair Specialty judge for 32 years 
and a world renowned Abyssinian breeder. In addition to 
her beloved cats, Sylvia was an avid sports fan and 
boogie boarder who enjoyed life immensely. She will be 
missed by many. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests 
memorial donations to Abyssinian Breeders International 
or Southern California Abyssinian Rescue.
