Thompson, Rose E. ''Rose Mary'' (Brooks) Born on August 30, 1925 in Oakland, CA and passed away peacefully on April 24, 2010 in Sacramento, CA, at age 84. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Jack; infant daughters, Kathy & Randi; and sister Bea. Loving mother of Karen Monadjem (Mohammad) of Swaziland, Africa, Susan Day (George) of Redding, CA, and Lisa Bartram of Lodi, CA. Adoring grandmother of Ali, Leyla, Vahid, Morgan, Travis, Justin, Bryson, Jaden, and great-grandmother of Ariadne, Eliana, and one on the way. Cherished sister of Grace Elmore, Colleen Brooks, and Marcie McDonald (Mac). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rose Mary saw the good in everyone, was a friend to all, loved unconditionally and wished for peace on earth. A celebration of her life will be this summer.
