Rockfeld, Max

Max Rockfeld died on April 24, 2010 at 87 years old. 
He outlived his wife, a son, his brother and sisters 
and two daughters-in-law. He leaves behind two 
sons, Philip and Michael and two grandchildren, Dr. 
Jennifer and Jonathan. Dad served as a corpsman 
driving an ambulance during WWII in the Philippines 
and New Guinea. He spent 22 years with the NYPD on 
foot patrol in the South Bronx where he never used 
his gun. Our Dad was a quiet and good natured man, 
the most honest person I ever met. He will always 
remain in my heart with mom.
