Henning, Mary E. Born Oct 25, 1921 in Pottsville, Pa. Resident of El Dorado County for 43 years. Slipped away July 15,2009 with her son at her side. Her husband,LCDR John A. Henning USN retired and brother Joe Engressia preceded her in death. Survived by son Paul B. Henning, daughter in-law Therese P. Henning,grand-daughters Michelle R. and Therese N. Henning of Carmichael, Ca. Also survived by sister Virginia Fletcher and husband LTCOL Ernest Fletcher USAF retired of New Port Richey, Fl. And brother Ernie Engressia of Cool, Ca., And Phai Lai of Carmichael, Ca., nieces Joanna Flitton of Trinty, Fl., Jo Gray of Meadow Vista,Ca., Lee Engressia of Sacramento, Ca., Tina Engressia of Los Angeles, Ca.,Toni Nickerson of Miami Springs, Fl., and grandnieces Bailey and Rose Gray of Meadow Vista, Ca. Mary graduated from William Fleming High School,Roanoke, Va. Class of 1940. Trained as an X-ray technician at Lewis-Gale Hospital Roanoke,Va. Served in the U.S. Navy WWII,employed at Veterans Administration Regional office Roanoke,Va. (1947-1955) and Mather Air Base Hospital at Sacramento, Ca. (1970-1983) She will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
