H. Roger MORRIS 

Mr. Morris died quietly in his home on Wednesday, July 22, 
surrounded by his family. He was the last living member of the 
Gold medal winning UW Crew that rowed in the 1936 Olympics in 
Hitler's Germany.He was a WWII veteran who used his engineering 
profession in the Navy, dredging. He was preceded in death by his 
wife of 62 years. He will be missed by his children, Susan 
Hanshaw, Joan Mullen, and James Morris and their families. For
