Wayne M. Graves, Jr.
Age 52, passed away July 16, 2009. Wayne was born to parents Miriam C. and Wayne M. Graves, Sr. on August 19, 1956 in Williams Air Force Base, Arizona. He is survived by his Mom, Miriam, his sons Ian and Tyler, his sisters Carol (Peter) Viser and Miriam (John) Tveit, his brother John (Kathy) Graves, his nephew and niece Michael and Allie Graves. Wayne graduated from Stadium High School in 1974, where he was a member of its first varsity soccer team. In the years following high school he loved playing soccer with his friends, and in recent times enjoyed following the local professional sports teams. He will be missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 4:00pm at Saint Marks Lutheran Church by the Narrows, 6730 North 17th Street, Tacoma, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tacoma Pierce County Youth Soccer Association.
