Peterson, Connie Marie Konajeskie
95 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family June 24, 2009. She was born November 16,1913 in Arnold, PA. Preceeded in death by her husband Alfred I. Peterson, her daughter Sharon L. Harries, her son Irving L. Peterson. and brothers Walter and Ted Konajeskie. She is survived by her son Richard H. (Sharon) Peterson, sisters Nell Connelly, and Eleanor Guzay, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Connie grew up on a farm in Upper Michigan where she learned the values which served her so well all her life. She was trained as a teacher but spent much of her early years raising her family. Over the years she lived in Salina, KS and then Fremont, NE until the children were grown, when she opened and operated a beauty salon until retiring and moving to Arizona. A Celebration of Connie's life will be held at Shepherd of the Valley, Lutheran Church, 15th Avenue and Maryland, Phoenix, AZ on Tuesday, July 21, at 1:00 P.M.
