Aurelia (Rudy) Caballero 95, passed away peacefully in Tucson July 14, 2009. Born in Los Angeles, CA to Raoul and Sally Vasquez. Aurelia was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Edward Caballero, Sr.; their daughter, Cynthia; their grandson, Ken Barnhart; brother, Francisco Vasquez and sisters, Amelia Bartlett and Ofelia Rendon. Survived by her sister, Celina Leach; son, Edward, Jr.; daughters, Sally Barnhart and Edwina (Rod) Nelson; grandchildren, Edward Caballero, III, Gilbert Caballero, Crystal Caballero, Marion (Joseph) Ingegneri, Lee Barnhart, Sally (Ronald) Stamper, Miguel (Sherry) Nelson and Rodney Nelson; 18 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Rudy was a devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother, happiest when cooking or sewing for her family. She was a long time member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. She will be missed by all who knew her. We love you Mama. Visitation 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2009 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb, with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
