Well, Elsie Jeanne Born February 2, 1924 in Santa Cruz, CA. Went to her Maker on July 2, 2009. Jeanne was widowed 3 times. Her first husband was Walter Lee with whom she had 6 children. Bill Cravens was her 2nd husband and Jonas Weil was her 3rd husband. She was preceded in death by her husbands, 2 sons, Walter Lee Jr. and Donald Lee, a grandson, Robert Lee, 3 siblings, Barbara Batson, Alonzo Arana II and John Arana. Survivors include her beloved children, Christy LaPointe (Mick), Pat Matranga (David), Julie Meyer (Mark) and John Lee, her loving siblings, Juanita Bolton, Bernice Wuyts and Charles Arana. Survivors also include several stepchildren, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She loved being around her family and friends and also loved helping out the underdog. For several years she worked for BOE and retired in 1994. For the past 3 years she lived in the Elk Grove Guest Home ( now Calif Care Homes) where she received excellent care. The family would especially like to thank her caregiver, Fe, for all she did. We would also like to thank VITAS Hospice. A memorial service will be held on July 24th at 2 p.m. at Elk Grove Funeral Chapel. 9101 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, CA.
