| Faye Irene Helmig Brumback, |

| 93 years, passed away at YRMC on June 16, 2009 after a brief illness. Until then, she has lived on her own in her home in Yuma. |
| Faye was born August 12, 1915 in Lone Jack, Missouri to Robert and Edith Faulkenberry Helmig. In 1939 she met Paul Coleman Brumback and they were happily married until his death in March 2000. She has now joined her tall Paul, beloved husband for over 61 years in their new heavenly home. |
| Faye and Paul moved from Independence, Missouri to Yuma, Arizona in August of 1959. Faye was known to all as a gentle, kind and loving woman, who was a comfort to anyone at any time. She was the placid, patient member of the Brumback family. Faye's family and her faith were the most important things in her life. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. |
| Faye is survived by her children, Edith Janette Sturdivant of Yuma, Charles Raymond Brumback of Yuma; grandchildren Matthew David Sturdivant of Yuma, Lara Lee Brumback of Memphis, Tennessee, Cole Brumback of Peoria, Arizona; sister, Nina Moore of Independence, Missouri; numerous beloved nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. |
| Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Paul and brother, Ray Helmig. |
| Services will be held 9:30 am, Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Sunset Vista Funeral Home and Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. Bob Smith of the Foothills Church of Christ will officiate the services. |
