| TRAVIS, Margaret Anderson Age 80 of Nashville, TN, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009. She was born in Holland, MO on October 23, 1928, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Anderson, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Hugh M. Travis, Jr. and their three children, Hugh M. Travis III (Diana), Philip T. Travis (Karen) and Terri Sturdivant (Wayne). She is also survived by six grandchildren, Brittany Webb (Jeff), Philip, Wesley and Ryan Travis, Justin and Eric Sturdivant. She is also survived by her brother, George and sister-in-law, Beatrice Anderson of Foley, AL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. For twelve years, Margaret was Secretary/Treasurer of BG Chemicals, Inc. She was an active member of Inglewood United Methodist Church, serving in various capacities through the years. She was a member of the Inglewood Booster Club, active in the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, member of the Eastern Star, and an avid supporter of Goodpasture Christian School athletics. Margaret's life centered around family, friends and knitting. Her favorite time was having family gathered around the kitchen table. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. and on Monday, June 15, 2009 from 2-3 p.m., with funeral service commencing at 3 p.m., with Rev. Gordon Meadors officiating. Grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers. Interment immediately following at Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville, TN.
