Dennis passed away peacefully with his family by his side, from complications associated with cancer on May 28th, 2009.
Dennis was born in Kingman, AZ and graduated from Page High School, Page, AZ, in 1965. After High School, he joined the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1972. Dennis and Andine moved to Spokane, WA in 1984 where Dennis took a break from the work force to raise daughter Ashlee. Dennis could always be seen in the stands cheering on Ashlee and her friends or sitting in the audience watching her dance recitals. Dennis returned to school in 1988 and received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Eastern Washington University and later began working for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.
Dennis loved playing golf, and was a member of the Clarkston Country Club. He also enjoyed watching movies and television, playing cards, reading, traveling with his wife to warmer climates, watching sports with his son-in-law, and laughing with his family, friends, and co-workers. One of Dennis's greatest loves was his grandson Ashton and he was afforded the opportunity to spend the last year of his life with him.
