GLENN F. GERKEY,
loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, departed this life on May 21, 2009. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 9, 1947, Glenn, meticulous and analytical, attended the University of Pittsburgh and came to have a successful career as an electrical engineer. He became a proud Texan as soon as he could. Together with his devoted wife, he cherished two daughters in whom he instilled by example the virtues of integrity, positive attitude and perseverance. He leaves in God's care his loving wife of 39 years, Georgia, his daughter, Laura Goddard, granddaughters Rachel Brunet, Corey Benz and Sydney Goddard and brother, Kenneth Gerkey. Glenn is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Alexandra Brunet. Visitation: Brookside Funeral Home, 9149 Highway 6 North, 77095 5pm-8pm Tuesday, May 26.
