Boggis, John Charles
John was born in Los Angeles, CA to Jean and Victor Boggis and grew up in Burbank. John died at the age of 66 in Los Angeles, CA. He is survived by his wife Olwen Leadbetter Boggis, his daughters Wendy Boggis Roelandt, Dana Boggis Alatorre and his siblings Ann L. Boggio, Lynn V.Boggis Volz and David V. Boggio.
John was a grandfather to Andrea and Brad Roelandt and to Olivia and Ava Alatorre. He was an uncle and guide to many. John always put family first, playing the role of "Godfather" to all family members with loving seriocomic bravado. He will be dearly missed by many. A private burial at sea was held Saturday, April 18, in Long Beach at 1:00 p.m.
