Suzanne Marie Campbell,
52, died of a stroke May 17, 2009, at Providence Alaska Medical Center. A service will
be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 13161 Brayton
Drive. Suzanne was born April 9, 1957, in Phoenix, Ariz. After attending college she
pursued a career in nursing, working at the VA Hospital in Arizona, and after moving to
Anchorage in 1998, she worked for Providence Health Services, and at the Alaska
Native Medical Center. "Suzanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and loved to
help others," her family recalled. "She loved to read, or just hang out with her family.
She will be dearly missed and always in our hearts." Suzanne is survived by her
husband, Harvey Joe Campbell Sr.; her sons, Robert Campbell, Paul Campbell, and
Harvey and wife Rayna Campbell; her daughter, Evelyn Marie and husband Marc
Spieth; and her grandson, Joshua Spieth. Memorial donations may be made at Wells
Fargo Bank to the Suzanne M. Campbell Memorial Fund. Arrangements are with
Witzleben Legacy Funeral Home & Crematory.
