| Mary Francine Billings, 92 of Edmonds, Washington passed away April 11, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. |
| She is survived by her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren. |
| Francine was born August 13, 1916 in San Francisco, California to William and Sadie Kreuzer. She was raised in Sonoma, California and graduated from the prestigious Lowell High School in San Francisco and continued her education at Diablo Valley Junior College. |
| During WWII, she worked at McDonald Douglas in Southern California in the Engineering Department. She met her husband, Bill, in San Francisco where he was stationed as an Officer in the Navy and heavily involved in the Pacific campaign. They were married for 60 years and had two children, Sharon and Robert (who passed away at 33). She was involved in charity and fund raising efforts in the Bay Area for decades through her church and the Epilepsy Foundation. She loved to read, swim and care for animals. |
| In loving memory, donations may be made to the Epilepsy and Alzheimer Foundations. Her ashes will be placed at sea where her son, Robert's were laid to rest. |
| A memorial will be held in June when her family will be present. Arrangements are under the care of Solie Funeral Home and Crematory. |
