| 69 3/21/1939 2/26/2009 John D. Chaney was born in Cardwell, Mo., March 21, 1939, and died Feb. 26, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Chaney; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Pam Chaney; children, John Chaney Broyles, Rick Chaney Broyles, Teresa Laschuck, Shelly Kribs, Missy Platz and Melissa Chaney; and stepson, Eddy. He was a hard working, fun loving, happy-go-lucky man who made people laugh and feel good. He loved life, fishing, RVing and Lincolns. He loved music and dancing a lot - country, pop, contemporary or soul - it didn't matter. He always had a good time. Mel Tillis, Mickey Gilley, Willie Nelson and Jerry Reed were his favorites. His favorite song was "Hot Rod Lincoln." He loved John Wayne movies. We love you and miss you! There is no service planned. Arrangements by Cochran Funeral Home. |
