Griffiths, Mildred Louise
90 12/08/1918 2/07/2009 Mildred was born in Ardmore,Pa., but has lived for years in Wilsonville. She is survived by her five children, Margaret Lee, Catherine McGeehan, Charles McGeehan, Mary McGeehan and Patricia McGeehan; two stepchildren, John Young and Linda Hunt; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Among her many loved ones is her daughter-in-law, Karen McGeehan, who did so much for her over the years. Mildred was an artist, performer and civil rights activist. She was an avid reader with a passion for literature and a love of film. She lived an amazingly full and long life and died a peaceful death, surrounded by family and loved ones. We shall miss her. A gathering is planned to celebrate her life.
