She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Clarence Collins, her daughter Suzie, and son-in-law Lee Tison. A son, Jerry, preceded her in rest. Her only surviving sister, Barbara Owen, lives in Oregon. Virginia worked for Boeing in Kansas during WW2. Virginia, Clarence, and Suzie lived at many locations in the Pacific Northwest because Clarence was a Union Ironworker , working on bridges and dams. Their leisure time was spent enjoying their horses and hunting and fishing. They were active in the Grange in Deer Island, Oregon. They treasured the many friendships they made along the way.
