| Jaime "Jimmy" D. Chavoya, age 48, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010. He was born in Yuma on April 26, 1961 to Javier and Sara Chavoya. |
| Jimmy was a diesel mechanic for many years. He loved to listen to music and always thought about others before himself. He was a family man, and a friend to all. Jimmy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. |
| Jimmy is survived by his mother, Sara Chavoya of Yuma; wife, Patricia Chavoya; daughters, Roslyn (Ian) Mitchell of Waco, Texas, Andrea and Natividad "Nati" Chavoya both of Yuma; sons, Jimmy (Alicia) Chavoya Jr. and David Chavoya both of Yuma; sisters, Maria (Mario) Chavoya of Yuma, Betty (Gregg) Sharp of Phoenix, Arizona, Becky (Ruben) Chavez and Veronica (Daren) Griffin all of Vancouver, Washington; brothers, Jesse (Esther) Chavoya and Ruben Chavoya both of Yuma; 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. |
| Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Javier Chavoya. |
| Visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary Thursday, April 8,2010 between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. |
| Jimmy's final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in the Meditation Garden. |
| Pallbearers will be Jimmy Chavoya Jr., David Chavoya, Jesse Chavoya, Ruben Chavoya, Ruben Chavez Jr., Freddy Lugo. |
| Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Chavez, Jose Pescina and Javier Reveles. |
