| Ray, Gwendolyn Fenn After 95 eventful years, Gwendolyn Fenn Ray passed away Monday April 26, 2010 in her Chandler, AZ home of 50 years. Visitation will be in Chandler, AZ 9:00 a.m. Friday April 30, 2010 at Galveston 2nd Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1950 W. Galveston (NE corner of Galveston & Dobson Rd.) with the funeral following at 10:00 a.m. The graveside service will be held the same day 4:00 p.m. at the Pomerene, AZ Cemetery. She is preceded in death by husbands Troy Clifford Martin of 2 years and Milton Wardlow Ray of 65 years, son Mario E. Ray, granddaughter Anna Marie Ritterbusch, her parents Alvah and Carmen Forster Fenn, brothers Frank, Alward, John, Henry, sisters Eva Harmon, Nell Fenn, Pauline Kading. She is survived by sons Lynn & Karen Ray, Jerel & Fern Ray, daughters Marian & Wilbur Lunt, Carol Follett, Martha Jane & Dale Foote, Kathryn Ritterbusch, daughter-in-law Carol & Roger Decker, 31 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren, 59 great great grandchildren, her brothers Karl & Thelma Fenn, Vay & Barbara Fenn, Donald & Nancy Fenn, sisters Louise Larson, Marguerite & Neil Carruthers, Joan & Don Ward. Our dear mother, grandmother, sister, friend, creative homemaker, and talented artist, was born April 14, 1915 in Robinson (now Pomerene), AZ, the 4th child of 14 children. In Arizona she grew up in Pomerene, Ft. Huachuca and Mesa. After marriage she lived in Chandler, New Mexico, California, Benson, AZ and in Nauvoo, Illinois where she served 2 Church missions with Ward. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed sharing her artistic talents by teaching art lessons, participating in art shows, giving home decorating tips, and decorating her home. She was a sixth generation member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and happily gave service to the Church and also served within her community.
