McAndrew, Molly J.

77, of Sun City, AZ departed on her heavenly trip
April 8, 2010. Born Nov. 1, 1932 in Bradford, PA
to "A. O." and Elinor Meachem Alexander, she
was among 7 brothers and sisters. A graduate of
Bradford HS, PA, she married former spouse
John L. McAndrew, Jr. of Bradford, PA. They
were blessed with 4 children prior to relocating
to Phoenix, AZ in 1961. Molly's accounting
career spanned several decades with Motorola in
Scottsdale, AZ. After retiring, she moved from
Phoenix to Sun City, AZ. Molly enjoyed reading
books, knitting, crocheting, gardening, and her
2 canines. She was a regular volunteer at Boswell
Memorial Hospital in Sun City, AZ. She is survived
by 4 children: David (Elizabeth Lee) of Peoria,
AZ, Danny, Sr. (Andrea Black, partner) of Sun
City, AZ, Peggy Morris of Champaigne, IL, and
John L., III (Julie) of Phoenix, AZ, and Pat Kelly of
Deming, NM, who bonded into the family during
his teen years. She took pride in 10
grandchildren: Mona Reese of Phoenix, AZ;
Samantha Marney and Danny McAndrew, Jr. of
Orcas IS, WA; Jennifer Hall and Josh Ramsey of
Champaigne, IL; Geavonia Belsher of Las Vegas,
NV, Connie McAndrew of Arizona City, AZ, John
L. McAndrew, IV of Phoenix, AZ; Jacob Kelly of
Phoenix, AZ and 6 great-grandchildren. Also,
she is survived by 3 brothers Samuel (Susan),
Meach, and John Alexander all of Bradford, PA;
sisters Sally (Howard) Burkett of Bradford, PA
and Elinor Minnie Wasden of Pine, AZ; half sister,
Karen (Robert) Calderwood of Bradford, PA;
stepbrother Thomas (Beverly) Wright of
Houston, TX, Liz Harrison (former DIL) of Orcas
IS, WA, nieces and nephews. She was preceded
in death by: parents, former spouse, stepmother
Seretta Alexander, brother Mahlon "Fat"
Alexander of Bradford, PA and half brother
James Alexander of Roanoke, VA. Cremation was
held at Regency Mortuary, Sun City, AZ. Please
join us for Molly's Celebration of Life on May 1,
2010 from 1:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at Talisman Hall,
10433 W. Talisman Road, Sun City, AZ. Flowers
