Linda L. Cline (Dubravetz)
---
Our precious wife, mother, grandma and friend departed from us on Sunday, January 25, 2009 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. She was a true lady who left everyone she knew with a smile on their face. She blessed our lives with her presence. The world is a little dimmer without her light and laughter.
Linda L. Cline was born on May 28, 1945 in Van Nuys, California to Lloyd and Charlotte Nygaard. She graduated from San Fernando High School in 1963 in Southern California. She married her childhood friend, Ronnie Dubravetz, in 1966. They started their family in 1971 and moved to Everett, Washington in 1978. Linda started working for the Edmonds School District in 1979 and retired in June 2008. She lost Ronnie to cancer in June 1995, but was blessed to enjoy the last 10 years of her life with her beloved husband, Daniel J. Cline. Together they enjoyed many activities especially traveling and dancing. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Ronnie.
She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel J. Cline; her adoring daughters, Julie Dubravetz and Janelle (Jason) Davis; grandchildren, Sierra Dubravetz-Padula, Emma and Maleah Davis, Alisha and Josh Coe, PJ and Nate Haas and Jason Cline; her aunt, Nina Johnson; her cousin, Nina Marie Winsor; her niece, Monica Calvo; her best friend, Sharon Loitz; and countless friends.
At Linda's request a private memorial service will be held.
Memorial donations can be made in Linda's honor to: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Lung Cancer Research, PO Box 19024, J5-200, Seattle, WA 98109. (206) 667-4902.
