POTTER, Gerri L. (Age 72)

Born to John and Georgia Drinnon in Bransville, Missouri August 23, 1936. Gerri was a
beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. After a valiant battle with Dementia she
succumbed to the disease and peacefully passed away on February 12, 2009 in San
Diego with her eldest son close by her side. Gerri was employed as a nurse for the
beginning years of her career. Gerri wed Gordon in 1961 and shared 43 years together.
After her husband retired from the military, they moved to Spokane Washington to be
close with the rest of her family. Gerri raised a family while continuing to work part time
as well as pursuing several hobbies. She had several passions in life; her love for her
church was demonstrated by her involvement in the many functions and outreach
programs she attended. She received happiness in using her hobbies to bring
enjoyment to others. She loved participating in the lives of her family and friends by
baking wedding and birthday cakes. Surviving Gerri: one brother, James Drinnon; one
sister, Billie Daniels; five children, Pamela Feaster, Ginger Terry, Scott Potter, Jennifer
Lange and David Potter; four grandchildren, Christy Terry, Chelsey Whitney, Shelby
Whitney and A.J. Potter; and one great-grandson, Andrew Terry. We will all miss her
very much and wish to honor her with a service at Heritage Funeral Home at 1:00 PM
